About

Meet Dr. Emily!

I embarked on my educational journey at Bethany College in West Virginia, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Vet/Equine Science with a minor in Spanish. Choosing to deepen my knowledge and skills, I then returned home to complete my veterinary degree at The Ohio State University, graduating as part of the class of 2018. I completed a one year post doctorate at the University of Florida and the Chi University studying with Dr. Xie, one of the most influential Traditional Chinese Medicine Veterinarians in the world.

Driven by a passion for integrative veterinary care, I chose to pursue additional certifications during my senior year of veterinary school. I completed certifications in mixed animal acupuncture through Chi University and mixed animal chiropractic with Options for Animals. These certifications have significantly expanded my skill set, allowing me to offer a comprehensive and integrative approach to caring for my patients.

I pride myself in leading a dynamic lifestyle that centers around exploring the great outdoors. When I’m not tending to patients, I find solace in a variety of activities, including rock climbing, hiking, backpacking, trail running, shooting, and training my dog in agility. With a passion for equestrianism, I cherish the unmatched experience of being on horseback. I have also traveled around the world starting at a young age. Some of my travel has involved veterinary service projects in Costa Rica, India and Fiji.

Having embraced Arizona as my new home, I’m excited to contribute to your animal's healthcare journey and be a valuable member of their healthcare team.
